The many cultures and ethnic groups within each nation-states gives rise to varying levels of diversity. However in most nation-states, there is a majority faction that has power to determine how the daily lives of its inhabitants are lived.
Some suffer alienation, dispair, poverty, disease, and hunger in some form or another, but we the worldwide masses have the capacity and the capability of making a difference in their lives.
